These are Shri yantra or Shri Chakra traditional Newari Pauba, or Pauva Painting. The Shri Yantra or Sri Chakra is a form of a mystical diagram. It consists of nine interlocking triangles that surround a central point known as a Bindu, a red dot. These triangles represent the cosmos and the human body. the source of all energy, power, and creativity. Hanging the Sri Yantra Mandala on the wall of your houses believe to bring wealth and overall prosperity. Pauva is a traditional painting of the Newar communities, original dwellers of Kathmandu valley.
