This is a Panch Buddha( 5 Buddhas) wheel of the life cycle, Bhavachakra Mandala Thangka painting. This Thangka depicts various activities and the life cycles of Lord Buddha. This thangka painting is also called a big circle Of Buddha mandala and it is the perfect representation of the power of the teachings of the Buddha. The center of the mandala features the Buddha sitting in a lotus position. This gesture is an expression of the transmission of the principles of Buddhism and it is a symbol of the importance of intellectual discussion to understand the message of the Buddha. Both inside and outside this magnificent circle are depicted several bodhisattvas and wrathful deities that are considered the protectors and keepers of Buddhist principles. The upper part of this mandala features different manifestations of Avalokiteshvara. On the bottom Buddha is meditating sitting with his hands in Dhyana mudra symbolizing the attainment of spiritual perfection.
