This is an original hand-painted Palden Lhamo Tibetan Thangka Painting from Nepal. Palden Lhamo or Sri Devi is a female tantric Buddhist goddess who appears in many different forms. She appears as a wrathful deity with a primary role as a Dharmapala (the one who protects the Dharma). She is a Protector of wisdom and, an enlightened being. Palden Lhamo is one of three Dharmapalas alongside Mahakala and Yamantaka.
