Kubera is also known as Jambhala, the god of wealth. He is depicted with Shakti in front of him in the yab-yum pose representing the primordial union of wisdom and compassion. Shakti has her legs wrapped around Kubera looking up into his menacing face while holding a conch shell and flowers. Kubera holds a conch shell in his right hand and a mongoose in his left that spits up wish-granting jewels when squeezed by Kubera. The jewels are displayed in front of the mongoose with one jewel actively coming out of his mouth! He wears flowing robes and an elaborate headdress.
