This is a hand-painted Vajrasattva Thangka painting bordered with silk. The Vajrasattva is one of the sixth Dhyani Buddha, the Buddha of purification. The Vajrasattva thangkas are used in meditation and devotional and purification practices in the Buddhist tradition.
