These are traditional Newai Pauva Paintings of lord Ganesha in the Sriyantra theme. The Shri Yantra or Sri Chakra is a form of a mystical diagram. It consists of nine interlocking triangles that surround a central point known as a Bindu, a red dot. These triangles represent the cosmos and the human body. the source of all energy, power, and creativity. Hanging the Sri Yantra Mandala on the wall of your houses believe to bring wealth and overall prosperity. The Ganesha also is known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Binayak is one of the important and most worshiped gods in Hinduism. The Ganesha is considered a destroyer of obstacles and worshiped first before any rituals, religious ceremonies.
The Pauva is a traditional painting of the Newar communities, original dwellers of Kathmandu valley. Paubhas are mainly religious paintings, depicting deities, mandalas or monuments, and are the object for meditation. The Parvas are similar to Tibetan Thangkas
