Original Hand Painted Jambhala /God Of Wealth Tibetan Compassion / Meditation Wall Hanging Masterpiece Thangka with Silk Premium Brocade
Jambhala, also known as Dzambhala or Kubera, is a wealth-related deity. His blessings are believed to remove poverty-related obstacles and bring abundance to those who practice pure Dharma. According to the Sutras, while Shakyamuni Buddha was teaching, demons tried to disturb him, but Dzambhala appeared and protected him. Impressed by Dzambhala's courage, Buddha invited him to become a Dharma Protector and help all sentient beings. Since then, he has offered immediate assistance to those who call his name or chant his mantra. His blessings are believed to bring good luck, increase virtues, prolong life, increase intelligence, and provide material and spiritual benefits.
There are five forms of Dzambhala - yellow, white, black, green, and red - with each form having special significance and attributes. The yellow Dzambhala, Kubera, is the most common form. He is depicted wearing crowns and silk garments adorned with beautiful gold and jeweled ornaments. He is seated on a throne and holds a citron fruit in his right hand and a mongoose in his left hand. The mongoose spews precious jewels and treasures, symbolizing Dzambhala's victory over the nagas.
