This is a traditional Newari Pauva Painting featuring Ganesha in the Sri Yantra theme. These triangles symbolize both the cosmos and the human body, which are the sources of all energy, power, and creativity. Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Binayak, is one of the most important and worshiped gods in Hinduism. Ganesha is considered a destroyer of obstacles and is worshiped first before any rituals or religious ceremonies.

Pauva is a traditional painting of the Newar communities, who are the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley. Paubhas are religious paintings that depict deities, mandalas, or monuments and are used as objects for meditation. Pauvas are similar to Tibetan Thangkas.
