This is a hand-painted Shakyamuni, Gautama, Buddha Thangka. This is an old thangka varnished with the oil and bordered with a new brocade. This is an oil-painted Thangka and is more durable than a normal Thangka. The Shakyamuni Buddha is a historical Buddha born in Lumbini Nepal in 6th. century B.C.E.
