Amitabha Buddha Pure Copper Statue, 18 Inch Handmade Buddhist Sculpture, Antique Finish, Made in 2004, Kathmandu Valley

This handcrafted Amitabha Buddha statue from Kathmandu Valley is made from pure copper with an antique finish. Detailed robes, a calm expression, and a broad lotus pedestal give the sculpture a balanced presence.

Amitabha sits in the full lotus position, with both hands resting together in his lap in the meditation gesture. A decorated vessel rests between his hands. Floral patterns and scrolling borders enrich the robes, contrasting with the smoother face and upper body.
