This is a traditional Newai Pauva Painting with Ganesha in Sriyantra theme. The Shri Yantra or Sri Chakra is a form of a mystical diagram. It consists of nine interlocking triangles that surround a central point known as a Bindu, a red dot. These triangles represent the cosmos and the human body. the source of all energy, power, and creativity. Hanging the Sri Yantra Mandala on the wall of your houses believe to bring wealth and overall prosperity. Ganesha also is known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Binayak is one of the important and most worshiped gods in Hinduism. Ganesha is considered a destroyer of obstacles and worshiped first before any rituals, religious ceremonies.
Pauba or Paubha is a traditional painting of the Newar communities, original dwellers of Kathmandu valley. Paubhas are mainly religious paintings, depicting deities, mandalas, or monuments, and are the object for meditation. The Paubas are similar to Tibetan Thangkas
